About Rachel
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with adults, couples, and families. I’m trained in CBT, EMDR, ACT, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), and I take a practical, relational approach to therapy that balances insight with real-life change.
I’ve lived in Colorado on and off for nearly 20 years and consider myself an almost-native. I’m also a parent in a blended family, and this lived experience meaningfully informs my work—particularly with couples and parents navigating complex family systems.
At the foundation of my work is a Multigenerational Family Systems lens. This allows us to look at patterns shaped by family-of-origin experiences and identify what no longer serves you. From there, we focus on developing skills for setting boundaries, communicating needs more effectively, and living in alignment with your values.
Clients often describe me as straightforward, occasionally sarcastic, and appreciate my use of “normal language” in therapy. I value collaboration and transparency, and I work to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged.
I specialize in working with couples, transitional-aged young adults (18–25), individuals experiencing anxiety and/or depression, and parents—especially those in blended families. I’m also open to providing supervision for pre-licensed marriage and family therapists.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and rescue animals, practicing yoga, hiking, listening to true-crime podcasts, and baking.
